🔼 Winners At Home. Virginia football got on the board first against Duke thanks to a 34-yard touchdown pass from Anthony Colandrea to Malik Washington in the first quarter and never trailed, winning 30-27 to earn its third win of the season!

🔼 Game On The Gulf. Virginia men’s basketball is in Fort Myers, Fla. this evening for a matchup with Wisconsin in the Fort Myers Tip-Off.
The Badgers have had an up-and-down start to their season, winning games against Arkansas State and Robert Morris and dropping games against No. 9 Tennessee and Providence.
🔼 Hoo Heroics. Virginia men’s soccer captain Leo Afonso was the man of the match in the Hoos’ NCAA Second Round matchup against FIU on Sunday, scoring twice in a 2-1 win.
Afonso entered the game as a substitute in the 26th minute, and promptly scored less than 10 minutes later.

🔼 Top-Four Finish. Virginia field hockey’s season came to an end in the NCAA Final Four on Friday on the road at top-seeded North Carolina, 2-0.
The Hoos put together two penalty corners and three shots within the first three minutes of the game, but none found the net.
Virginia finishes the season at 14-7 overall, making its sixth NCAA Semifinal in program history.
🔼 Finished Up At Home. More than 5,000 fans were in attendance at Panorama Farms over the weekend to witness the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships, with both the Virginia men’s and women’s teams running to top-25 finishes.
The women finished 15th but had some tough luck, with Sophie Atkinson dropping out due to injury. Jenny Schilling earned All-American honors with her 39th place finish.
The men matched their finish from last year, coming in at 22nd.
📰 FEATURE: Hoos Cap Season At Panorama Farms
🔼 Valiant Comeback. Virginia women’s basketball turned a 20-point third quarter deficit into a five-point game midway through the fourth quarter, but couldn’t quite get over the hump in a 82-67 loss to No. 25 Oklahoma on Sunday.
Camryn Taylor (17), Olivia McGhee (14) and London Clarkson (13) all scored in double figures for the Hoos.

🔼 Dual Dominance. Virginia wrestling is 2-0!
The Hoos were in Albany, N.Y. over the weekend for the Armbar at the Armory, dominating both LIU (41-3) and Buffalo (37-6).
Virginia posted four pins at the event and 13 bonus-point victories.
🔼 Tight Match. Despite losing in three sets to Duke on Friday, Virginia volleyball kept the match close, with the first two sets were both decided by just two points.
Friday served as Senior Day for the Hoos, with GG Carvacho, Ciera Hecht, Madison Morey, Regan Trueblood, Chloe Wilson and Veresia Yon all honored.
