🔼 Another Opportunity. Virginia men’s basketball has a chance to flip the narrative this weekend with a road game at Wake Forest tomorrow at 2 p.m.
The Hoos, who are 9-0 at home this season, are 0-3 so far in true road games this season. Dating back to the 2014-15 season, Virginia has won five straight games against Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.
🔼 Make It Eight. Three-time first-team All-American Connor Shellenberger stopped by the Wahoo Central Podcast to discuss Virginia men’s lacrosse’s offseason and its plans to make a run at the program’s eighth NCAA title!
🔼 One More For The Road. For the fourth-year players on the Virginia men’s tennis team, there have been more seasons that have ended with national championships than not.
Chris Rodesch, Iñaki Montes, Alexander Kiefer and Jeffrey von der Schulenburg intend to keep it that way, and begin their back-to-back title defense this weekend.

🔼 Clash In The Pool. Bragging rights are on the lines painted at the bottom of the pool this weekend, as Virginia swimming & diving heads to Christiansburg to take on Virginia Tech.
🔼 Not Enough. Virginia women’s basketball fell behind by 18 points after the first quarter at No. 6 NC State on Thursday night and could never climb back into the game, suffering a 93-66 loss.
Camryn Taylor again had a good game against the Wolfpack, leading all scorers with 22 points, her ninth consecutive game with double figures.
🔼 Runners, On Your Mark. Bragging rights are also on the lane lines this weekend at Rector Field House as Virginia track & field heads to the Virginia Tech Invitational.
The event kicks off today with field events, starting with the women’s pole vault at 2:30. The women’s 3,000m run kicks off events on the track at 5 p.m.
🔼 Dual Duo. Virginia wrestling is set for a pair of matchups this weekend at the Virginia Duals in Richmond.
The Hoos will be on the mat with Kent State, which is 2-10 this season, today at 3 p.m. Tomorrow, Virginia will take on Big Ten opponent Wisconsin (4-1) at 1:30 p.m.
