🔼 Honoring A Legend. During her 34 years as Virginia’s head women’s basketball coach, Debbie Ryan was named ACC Coach of the Year seven times and made 24 NCAA Tournament appearances.

The UVA legend will be honored at Virginia’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration on Sunday, Feb. 18 when the Hoos host Syracuse!

🔼 In The Wolf’s Den. Just 11 days after Virginia women’s basketball took a lead into halftime against No. 6 NC State at JPJ, the Hoos get another crack at upsetting the Wolfpack tonight in Raleigh.

A lopsided third quarter was the difference in the last meeting of the two teams, although Virginia battled back in the fourth period to close the gap. Virginia will hope to get similar production out of Camryn Taylor this time around, after the forward scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds on New Year’s Eve.
