🔼 Comeback Complete. Down 2-0 heading into the fourth period of its ACC Tournament opener, Virginia field hockey rattled off three unanswered goals to take down Syracuse, 3-2 on Tuesday afternoon.
Noa Boterman scored the first and third goal for the Hoos in the final period, sandwiching a Laura Janssen goal that tied the game.
With the win, Virginia has earned a matchup with top-seeded North Carolina on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Turf Field in Charlottesville.
