🔼 Century Mark Passed. Virginia women’s basketball’s offense was in midseason form on opening night, beating American 104-68 inside John Paul Jones Arena.
Kymora Johnson led the Hoos with 21 points in 21 minutes. Breona Hurd (18), Latasha Lattimore (15) and Olivia McGhee (12) joined Johnson in double figures. Taylor Lauterbach came close to a double-double with eight points and 13 rebounds.

🔼 Postseason Push. The No. 4 seed Virginia field hockey team begins ACC Championship play today against No. 5 seed Syracuse at 12:30 p.m. in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The Hoos and Orange met back on Oct. 18, with Virginia winning 3-2 in shootout fashion. The winner of today’s game will take on the winner of No. 1 seed North Carolina and No. 8 seed California tomorrow at 1 p.m.

Virginia-Pitt To Kick Off At 8 P.M. Saturday. The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Saturday night (Nov. 2) that Virginia’s football game at Pittsburgh on Nov. 9 has been set for 8 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ACC Network and the Virginia Sports Radio Network.
