🔼 Game Won! Virginia men’s basketball won the first game of the Ryan Odom era on Monday night, beating Rider, 87-53, in its season opener.

The Hoos had five players score in double figures — Thijs De Ridder (21), Johann Grünloh (12), Sam Lewis (11), Chance Mallory (11) and Jacari White (11).

🔼 Tipoff Time! Virginia women’s basketball officially begins the 2025-26 season today, welcoming Morgan State to John Paul Jones Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff!

🔼 Hoos In The Afternoon! Virginia football’s final road game of the regular season at Duke on Saturday, Nov. 15 will kick off at 3:30 p.m on either ESPN or ESPN2!

🔼 Tournament Time! Second-seeded Virginia field hockey begins its ACC Tournament run today, taking on No. 7 seed Stanford (7-9) at 3:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal matchup in Louisville, Ky.!

🔼 Hold The Line. For the third time this season, Virginia football’s Kam Robinson is the ACC Linebacker of the Week!

Robinson is now the only player in program history with three ACC linebacker-of-the-week distinctions in the same season. In addition to Monday’s announcement, he previously garnered the award following his performances against Louisville (Oct. 4) and Washington State (Oct. 20). 

🔼 On The Air. Virginia defensive lineman Jacob Holmes will join Coach’s Corner with Tony Elliott tonight!

Each year, Worth Higgins & Associates — Virginia’s largest sheetfed printer — produces limited-edition wrapping paper for the holiday season, which is circulated widely to their clients and partners throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. For the 2025 holiday season, University of Virginia Athletics helped run a special UVA themed edition! We invited art and design professionals to enter their own original University of Virginia themed designs into a contest, from which winning designs were selected from an online voting process.

Virginia To Host 2025 NCAA Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships. The University of Virginia is set to host the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Friday, Nov. 14 at Panorama Farms. The women’s 6k is set to start at 10:00 a.m. followed by the men’s 10k at 11:00 a.m.
