🔼 National Champs! The Virginia men’s tennis team of Dylan Dietrich and Mäns Dahlberg was crowned the 2025 NCAA Doubles Champions after winning their final match on Sunday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.!
Dahlberg, a senior, and Dietrich, a junior, topped Nikita Filin and Brandon Carpico of Ohio State 7-6 (3), 6-2 in the final to become the fourth NCAA Doubles Champions in UVA program history.

🔼 Greenbrier Games. Virginia men’s basketball split a pair of games at the Skechers Greenbrier Tip-Off over the weekend, beating Northwestern on Friday to earn its first Power 4 win of the season before falling to Butler on Sunday, 80-73.
Thijs De Ridder led the Hoos against the Wildcats with 26 points, while Malik Thomas led the way against the Bulldogs with 24 points.

🔼 On The Emerald Coast. Virginia women’s basketball is in Florida this week, participating in the Emerald Coast Classic in Niceville.
The Hoos play Northwestern State today at 8:30 p.m., with a matchup against either Nebraska or Purdue Fort Wayne tomorrow at 6 p.m.

🔼 Finish Line. Gary Martin led the Virginia men’s cross country team to a seventh place finish, earning All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships Saturday hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.!
The Virginia women finished 24th in the team standings.

🔼 Marathon Match. No. 1 seed Virginia women’s soccer had its season come to an end on Sunday, falling in a penalty kick shootout to No. 4 seed Washington at Klöckner Stadium.

🔼 Short In A Shootout. No. 2 seed Virginia men’s soccer bowed out of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, dropping its match against UNC Greensboro in a penalty shootout.

🔼 Wake Win. Virginia volleyball earned a split over the weekend, bouncing back from a five-set loss to NC State on Friday with a four-set win over Wake Forest on Sunday at John Paul Jones Arena.
Virginia was led by the dynamic duo of Reagan Ennist and Kadynce Boothe on Sunday as both Cavaliers recorded double-doubles. Ennist tallied a match-high 26 kills to go along with 10 digs, while Boothe added 12 kills and 12 digs of her own.

🔼 Dual Day. Virginia wrestling dropped a tough match to No. 11 Michigan on Sunday, 40-3, at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Mich.
It was the second ranked dual of the season for UVA who also wrestled at No. 11 Lehigh earlier this year.

Virginia Athletics Ties Its Highest NCAA Graduation Success Rate. Cavalier student-athletes covered during the current report matched their highest graduation rate at 96 percent for the third consecutive year. UVA also achieved the 96 percent rate in 2023 and 2024, and 95 percent in 2022. The NCAA launched the GSR program in 2002. The NCAA’s national average for this year’s reporting range is 90 percent.
