🏈 Senior Day vs. SMU
⚽️ Round 2
⚔️ And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Senior Send-Off. Virginia football welcomes No. 13 SMU to Scott Stadium tomorrow at noon for its home finale, which will serve as Senior Day and Heroes Appreciation Day. Get ready for game day with us:

🔼 Measuring Stick. First came games against Campbell and Coppin State at John Paul Jones Arena, then a clash with Villanova in Baltimore.

The University of Virginia men’s basketball team had yet to face a ranked opponent this season, but that has changed in the Bahamas. These late-November tournaments have become staples of the Wahoos’ non-conference schedules.

🔼 Records Aplenty. Virginia swimming and diving is through two days at the Tennessee Invitational, with the women holding a substantial lead over both Tennessee and Kentucky.

Gretchen Walsh had a swim to remember on Thursday, breaking the American record in the 100 Butterfly in a time of 47.35. Spencer Nicholas also grabbed a program record in the 100 Fly on Thursday with a time of 44.41.

🔼 Advanced Again. Virginia women’s tennis’ Elaine Chervinsky and Melodie Collard are into the quarterfinals at the NCAA Individual Championships!

Chervinsky upset top seed Mary Stoiana of Texas A&M in straight sets during singles play on Thursday, and teamed up with Collard in doubles to beat a team from Georgia to advance to Friday’s action.

🔼 Badger Ball. No. 4 seed Virginia women’s soccer is in Irvine, Calif. today, taking on Wisconsin in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at 5 p.m. ET.

The Hoos took down Princeton, 2-1, in the first round to advance to this weekend’s action. The Badgers beat Maine, 3-1, to earn their way to Irvine.

🔼 Battle Of The Virginias. Virginia men’s soccer will begin its NCAA Tournament run on Sunday, hosting West Virginia at 5 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

The Mountaineers were winners last night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against North Florida to advance to Sunday’s matchup with the Hoos, who earned a first-round bye.

🔼 Last Call. Virginia cross country’s season culminates tomorrow in Madison, Wis. with the NCAA Championships!

Both the men’s and women’s programs earned automatic qualifications into the field thanks to top-two finishes at last weekend’s NCAA Southeast Regional.

🔼 Homestand Finale. Virginia women’s basketball will be back at John Paul Jones Arena for the fourth straight game on Sunday, hosting Bethune-Cookman at 4 p.m.

After Sunday’s contest, the Hoos will travel to the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout, with matchups against Green Bay, Washington State and Wyoming.

🔼 Another Opportunity. In the midst of its best season in almost two decades, Virginia volleyball has another weekend of home matches upcoming, with No. 3 Louisville (15-1 ACC) first up today at 7 p.m.

After the Hoos and Cardinals settle their score tonight, Notre Dame (3-13 ACC) will come to town on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup.

🔼 Big Matchup. Virginia wrestling ramps up its competition this weekend, welcoming Michigan to Memorial Gym this Sunday at 7 p.m. for Military Appreciation Day.

The Wolverines, who finished third at last year’s NCAA Championships, are 1-0 so far this season, and will wrestle at Duke tonight before traveling to Charlottesville.
