🔼 Away From Home. Virginia men’s basketball plays its first game away from John Paul Jones Arena today, traveling to the state of West Virginia for a 5 p.m. matchup against Northwestern (4-0) in the Greenbrier Tip-Off.

🔼 So Sweet! No. 1 seed Virginia women’s soccer is into the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament after a 2-0 win over No. 8 seed Penn State at Klöckner Stadium on Thursday!

With the win, the Hoos will play Washington at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Klöckner.

🔼 Triple The Fun! Virginia women’s basketball improved to 4-1 on Thursday with a 94-47 win over Longwood at John Paul Jones Arena, powered by Romi Levy’s triple-double with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists!

Levy became just the third Hoo to ever record a triple-double, joining teammate Kymora Johnson and Dawn Staley.

🔼 NCAA Tournament Time! No. 2 seed Virginia men’s soccer kicks off NCAA Tournament play this Sunday, hosting UNC Greensboro at 5 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.

The Spartans won a thriller in the NCAA First Round, winning over Elon in PKs, 4-3.

🔼 Last Lap. Virginia cross country’s season concludes this weekend, with both the men’s and women’s teams in Columbia, Mo., to race at the NCAA Championships!

🔼 Double Trouble. A pair of Virginia tennis duos earned wins at the NCAA Doubles Championships on Thursday — Mans Dahlberg and Dylan Dietrich took down the No. 1-ranked doubles team on the men’s side, while Annabelle Xu and Martina Genis Salas advanced to the quarterfinals on the women’s side.

🔼 Homestanding Hoos. With four matches left in the regular season, Virginia volleyball begins a three-match homestand this weekend, welcoming both NC State and Wake Forest to John Paul Jones Arena.

🔼 Let’s Play Lacrosse! Both Virginia men’s and women’s lacrosse released its 2026 schedules on Thursday!

🔼 Senior Standout. Virginia fourth-year Lauren Kenah has been named to the 2025 NFHCA Division I Senior Team, announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Thursday!

🔼 Keep Climbing. As Virginia squash hits the road this weekend to play at Columbia and Penn, the men’s team will do so with its highest ranking ever, way up at No. 4 in the country!

Virginia Athletics Ties Its Highest NCAA Graduation Success Rate. Cavalier student-athletes covered during the current report matched their highest graduation rate at 96 percent for the third consecutive year. UVA also achieved the 96 percent rate in 2023 and 2024, and 95 percent in 2022. The NCAA launched the GSR program in 2002. The NCAA’s national average for this year’s reporting range is 90 percent.
