🔼 Start A Streak. Virginia women’s basketball won its third game in a row on Wednesday, beating Alabama State, 85-50, inside John Paul Jones Arena.

Kymora Johnson led the way with 22 points and five rebounds, while Latasha Lattimore registered a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Breona Hurd (13) and Olivia McGhee (12) also scored in double figures.

🔼 Island Time. After passing its first test of the season last Friday against Villanova in Baltimore, Virginia men’s hoops gets another one today — the Hoos are in Nassau, Bahamas for a matchup with Tennessee as part of the Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship!

🔼 Tournament Dreams. In her fourth season as head volleyball coach at UVA, Shannon Wells has guided the Wahoos to their first 20-win season since 2006, and they're hoping to reach the NCAA tournament for only the third time in program history.

🔼 Survive And Advance. Virginia women’s tennis will be well-represented in Thursday’s Round of 16 at the NCAA Individual Championships, as Elaine Chervinsky advanced during play on Wednesday in both singles and in doubles with partner Melodie Collard.

Annabelle Xu and Dylan Dietrich also competed in singles play on Wednesday, dropping their matches.

🔼 Classroom Success. The NCAA released its annual Graduation Success Rate (GSR) data yesterday for the 2014-15 to 2017-18 freshman cohorts, and Cavalier student-athletes matched their highest graduation rate at 96 percent for the second consecutive year!
