🔼 Home Hoops. Virginia women’s basketball is back inside John Paul Jones Arena today, hosting Alabama State at 7 p.m.
The Hoos have two more home matchups — today vs. Alabama State and Sunday vs. Bethune-Cookman — before traveling to San Juan for the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout.
🔼 Finish Strong. They won three games in their abbreviated 2022 season and three games in 2023. With two regular-season games to play this fall, the Virginia Cavaliers have five victories, but they’re hungry for more.
“Five wins is better than what we’ve done the two previous seasons, but I don’t think anybody on this team or on the staff is satisfied with where we’re at,” defensive end Kam Butler said Tuesday after practice.

🔼 Off And Running. The Virginia men’s and women’s tennis programs got singles play started at the NCAA Individual Championships on Tuesday and picked up several wins.
Dylan Dietrich, Elaine Chervinsky and Annabelle Xu all earned wins in the Round of 64 and will play in the Round of 32 today.
🔼 Head First. Virginia men’s and women’s swimming is in Knoxville, Tenn. today and tomorrow, competing at the Tennessee Invitational.
The event will be scored as a double-dual meet between Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.
Plan the beach vacation of a lifetime on North Carolina’s stunning Crystal Coast where you’ll enjoy picture-perfect beaches, welcoming waterfront communities, and first-class dining.
