🔼 Nine Ball. No. 20/19 Virginia football improved to 9-2 on Saturday, traveling to Duke and using its high-powered offense to run away from the Blue Devils, 34-17!

Chandler Morris threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns, the Hoos ran for 224 yards, and held Duke to half of its season-average points output.

🔼 Hot Shot. Virginia men’s basketball’s offense exploded on Saturday, scoring 61 points in the first half on the way to a 104-78 win over previously-unbeaten Marshall.

Four Cavaliers finished in double figures. Thijs De Ridder led the way with 23 points, Malik Thomas and Dallin Hall each posted 18 and Johann Grünloh logged 16. UVA shot 33-for-63 (52.4 percent) from the field with a 42.9 percent mark from deep.

🔼 Movin’ On! No. 1 seed Virginia women’s soccer is headed to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after a 5-0 win over High Point at Klöckner Stadium in the first round on Friday night!

With the win, the Cavaliers will host second-round action this Thursday against Penn State.

🔼 Sunday Fun. Coming off its first loss of the season, Virginia women’s basketball got back in the win column Sunday with a 77-46 victory over Radford at John Paul Jones Arena.

Virginia outrebounded the Highlanders, 48-19, including 20 offensive rebounds which led to 28 second-chance points for the Hoos. Cavalier forward Tabitha Amanze led all players with 21 points, on 8-of-13 shooting, and 12 rebounds to record her second double-double in the last three games. 

🔼 One More Run! The NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Selection Committee announced Saturday that the Virginia men’s and women’s cross country teams have each earned at-large selections to the 2025 NCAA Championships set to be run at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo. on Saturday!

🔼 Dual Dub! Virginia wrestling earned its second dual win of the season over the weekend, taking down Kent State, 27-6, in Lakewood, Ohio.

Virginia has won at least eight weight classes in both dual victories this season.

🔼 Duke Dub! Virginia volleyball bounced back from a Friday loss at No. 15 North Carolina with a four-set victory at Duke on Sunday to grab its fourth ACC win of the season.

The Cavaliers were powered on Sunday by the dynamic duo of Reagan Ennist and Kadynce Boothe. Ennist recorded 20 kills to tie for the match-high, while Boothe tallied a new career-high with 19 kills of her own. Zoey Dood added to the dynamic attack with a team-best four blocks and 23 assists.

🔼 Next Up, NCAAs. No. 1 seed Virginia men’s soccer couldn’t find the back of the net on Sunday in the ACC Championship match, falling 1-0 to No. 7 seed SMU in Cary, N.C.

The loss for the Hoos snaps a 14-match unbeaten streak dating back to August 28.

🔼 Tough Loss. Virginia field hockey fell in heartbreaking fashion in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, losing 2-1 to Miami (Ohio) at Turf Field.
