🔼 Steel City Stunner. Virginia football dominated the second half of its game at No. 23 Pitt in prime time on Saturday night, erasing a halftime deficit to shock the Panthers, 24-19! Here is all of your postgame coverage from Pittsburgh:

🔼 Game Day At JPJ. Virginia men’s basketball is back on the court tonight for its second game of the regular season, hosting Coppin State at 7 o’clock at John Paul Jones Arena.
The Hoos are 1-0 thanks to a 65-56 win over Campbell in their season opener, while Coppin State Is 0-3 with losses to Wake Forest, High Point and Rider.

🔼 Down Goes No. 1! No. 9 seed Virginia men’s soccer is headed to the ACC Tournament semifinals after taking down No. 1 seed Pitt, 2-0, in Pittsburgh on Sunday night!
The Hoos and Panthers played to a scoreless draw for the first 67 minutes, before Virginia struck twice in less than 30 seconds to stun the home crowd.
Virginia will advance to take on No. 5 seed Wake Forest this Thursday in Cary, N.C.
⚽️ BOX SCORE: Virginia Men’s Soccer vs. Pitt
🔼 Clash Claimed (Again). After beating Virginia Tech in five sets on Wednesday in Charlottesville, Virginia volleyball traveled to Blacksburg on Friday to play the Hokies again, this time dominating in sweeping fashion.
The Hoos have now won six straight matches against the Hokies in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash, dating back to the 2022 season. Lauryn Bowie played a big part in the win, collecting a match-high 13 kills on 18 swings.
🔼 Throwing It Down. Virginia wrestling won its second consecutive match to open its season on Friday, downing The Citadel, 24-11, at the Throwdown On The Yorktown, which took place on the deck of the U.S.S. Yorktown in Charleston, S.C.
Keyveon Roller (125 pounds), Gable Porter (133), Michael Gioffre (157), Nick Hamilton (165), Rocco Contino (174), and Brenan Morgan (285) all picked up wins for the Hoos.
🔼 Sooner Shootout. Virginia women’s basketball suffered its first loss of the season on Friday night, falling 95-51 at No. 10 Oklahoma.
Breona Hurd led the Hoos with 15 points and five rebounds, followed by Paris Clark (11) and Kymora Johnson (10) in double figures.
🔼 Tickets Punched. Three members of the Virginia women’s tennis team are headed to the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships!
Annabelle Xu secured her spot in the NCAA Singles Championship by advancing to the semifinals of the ITA East Sectional over the weekend, and Elaine Chervinsky advanced after winning her Sunday match. Xu and Martina Genis Salas qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championships after advancing to the semifinals.

Antonio Clary Pushing Through More Adversity. Despite missing Virginia’s past three football games, Clary still stands second on the team in tackles, with 48. He also has an interception, and his fumble recovery on Sept. 7 proved pivotal in the Cavaliers’ comeback win over Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C.
