🔼 Even With The Eagles. A 76th-minute goal from Stephen Annor tied Virginia men’s soccer’s match against Boston College 1-1 on Friday, and the Hoos salvaged a draw against the Eagles.

Annor’s goal was his seventh of the season, and sixth in his past seven games.

🔼 Comeback Falls Short. Virginia women’s soccer played from behind most of Sunday afternoon against NC State, allowing two goals in the first 12 minutes before a valiant comeback effort came up short in a 2-1 loss.

Allie Ross scored in the 64th minute for the Hoos to bring them within one of the Wolfpack, but Virginia wasn’t able to find an equalizer.

🔼 Pair Of Tough Ones. Virginia volleyball dropped two tough matches over the weekend to ACC opponents, although the Hoos made some history by taking a top-15 opponent to five sets for the first time.

📰 GAME 1: Cavaliers Fall To Clemson, 3-1

📰 GAME 2: Cavaliers Edged In Five Sets By No. 11 Georgia Tech

🔼 Dropped In Overtime. Virginia and Duke field hockey played just about as close as the two teams possibly could on Friday, battling to a scoreless tie into the fourth period, matching goals at that point, and ending in overtime.

The No. 4 Blue Devils got the best of the No. 8 Hoos in the extra period, scoring a goal to win 2-1.
