🔼 More Bragging Rights. After falling behind by two sets early, Virginia volleyball came storming all the way back to beat Virginia Tech in five sets on Sunday.
A Virginia volleyball record 3,162 fans were in attendance to witness the first volleyball match in John Paul Jones Arena history. The win also moves UVA further ahead in this year’s Smithfield Commonwealth Clash race, and it now leads 4.5-0.

🔼 Top-10 Win. Virginia men’s soccer keeps on rolling, this time with a 1-0 win over No. 10 North Carolina to clinch the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament.
The Hoos and Heels played the first 85 minutes scoreless, until an incredible effort from Mo Thiam gave Virginia the lead for good.
Virginia will take on the winner of the NC State-Syracuse matchup this coming Sunday in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.
🔼 Hurricane Heartbreaker. Virginia football put together another valiant road effort against Miami over the weekend, but fell just short in overtime, 29-26.

🔼 Made A Splash. Virginia swimming and diving took care of business against Texas over the weekend, sweeping the Longhorns by a wide margin.

🔼 On The Medal Stand. Both the Virginia men’s and women’s cross country teams placed third at the ACC Championships on Friday!
Will Anthony (seventh) and Gary Martin (eighth) earned First-Team All-ACC honors with their top-10 finishes, while Yasin Sado (13th) and Nate Mountain (14th) both earned Second-Team nods.
Margot Appleton led the women’s team with a fifth place finish, and was joined on the All-ACC First Team by Jenny Schilling (10th). Caroline Timm (15th) and Anna Workman (20th) earned Second-Team nods.
