🔼 South’s Oldest Rivalry. Tomorrow night is the 128th meeting between Virginia and North Carolina football! Here’s what you need to get ready for game day:
📰 FEATURE: Challenging Stretch Lies Ahead For Hoos
🔼 Pleasant Weather. Virginia women’s soccer picked up its second ACC win in a row on Thursday evening with a 1-0 win over Miami.
The match was scoreless up through the 65th minute, when a Jill Flammia goal broke the tie and gave the Hoos the win.
The Hokies are 2-3-1 in ACC action this season, and sit three points behind the Hoos in the ACC Coastal standings.
🔼 Senior Day Showdown. No. 7 Virginia field hockey has a top-10 showdown on its hands for Senior Day, as No. 2 North Carolina comes to Charlottesville.
The Tar Heels are undefeated in conference play this season, and 11-2 overall.
Virginia will celebrate fourth-years Lilly Hengerer, Meghen Hengerer, Anneloes Knol and Esha Shah in a post-game ceremony.
🔼 Road To Raleigh. Virginia volleyball has yet another challenge this weekend as it hits the road to play at NC State.
The Wolfpack is 5-3 in ACC play, sitting in a tie for fifth place in the conference standings and owning a two-match win streak.
