🔼 Flew Away With A Win. Virginia men’s soccer picked up its biggest win of the year over the weekend, 3-0 over No. 8 Louisville!
The Hoos scored early and often against the Cardinals, with three different goal scorers — Stephen Annor (17’), Daniel Mangarov (31’) and Kome Ubogu (71’).

🔼 First Time, Long Time. Virginia volleyball picked up its first ACC win of the season against Syracuse on Friday, its first win over the Orange since 2003!
Virginia outhit Syracuse .295-.140 over four sets to snap the 20-year streak.
Sunday was a different story, as Boston College got the best of Virginia in four sets. Milan Gomillion had a match-high 17 digs, and Abby Tadder recorded 10 kills.
🔼 Call It Even. A 54th minute goal from Virginia’s Maggie Cagle tied the match at 1-1 with No. 17 Duke and was enough to play the Blue Devils to a draw on Sunday.
Cagle is now tied for the team lead with six goals, and leads the team with 16 points.
🔼 Weekend Split. No. 7 Virginia field hockey blanked Miami (Ohio) on Sunday, winning 2-0 in its Sunday matinee.
Adele Iacobucci found a deflection off a defender’s stick halfway through the first quarter to get the scoring started, and Noa Boterman added another goal for insurance in the fourth quarter.
Virginia also took on No. 5 Louisville earlier in the weekend, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Cardinals.
🔼 Battled Through It All. Virginia football fell in another close game on Saturday to Boston College, 27-24.
The Hoos held a two-touchdown lead at halftime, but a furious second-half rally from the Eagles was the difference.
Quarterback Tony Muskett returned to the field for Virginia and played well, throwing for 247 yards and three touchdowns.
