🔼 Another Statement. Virginia men’s soccer won against a second consecutive ranked opponent on Tuesday, beating No. 10 James Madison 1-0 just four days after beating No. 19 Virginia Tech.
The Hoos’ matchup against the Dukes looked destined to be a scoreless draw until Umberto Pelà put a pass in front of the net in the 90th minute that deflected off a James Madison defender and into the back of the net.

🔼 Ground And Pound. For the University of Virginia football team, running the ball effectively against Coastal Carolina was one thing. To follow that effort up with another strong performance on the ground against Boston College was especially pleasing for the Cavaliers’ coaching staff.

🔼 Electric In Net. With his 11-save performance in a 2-1 victory over Virginia Tech fresh in their mind, the ACC has named Virginia goalkeeper Joey Batrouni the Co-Defensive Player of the Week!

🔼 And The Award Goes To... Virginia men’s lacrosse head coach Lars Tiffany has announced the program’s 2024 season award winners, rounding out a season in which the Hoos made their 26th Championship Weekend appearance overall and fourth under Tiffany!

🔼 Hot In The Hamptons. No. 3 Virginia men’s golf moved up the leaderboard on the final day of the Hamptons Intercollegiate at the Maidstone Club, finishing in third place with a score of 5-under.
Four Hoos were under par during Tuesday’s final round — Deven Patel (68), Bryan Lee (70), Ben James (71) and Josh Duangmanee (71).
