🔼 Jumping In JPJ. Virginia volleyball continued to roll in a dominant weekend at home, picking up sweeps of both No. 16 Florida State and Miami.

Both wins held significance — the Hoos’ win over the Seminoles was their first over a ranked opponent since 2010, and the win over the Hurricanes came in the program’s second-ever match inside John Paul Jones Arena.

Virginia now sits at 13-2 overall and 3-1 in ACC play, its best start in conference play since 2015.

🔼 Season Incoming. Virginia men’s basketball held its annual Pepsi Blue-White Scrimmage on Saturday night — check out the highlights below!

🔼 Clash Claimed. Virginia men’s soccer earned a win on Friday against No. 19 Virginia Tech, beating the Hokies 2-1 to earn a point in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash!

Goalkeeper Joey Batrouni was fantastic for the Hoos with 11 saves, while Danny Mangarov and Albin Gashi found the net on the other end of the field.

🔼 One Up, One Down. No. 3 Virginia field hockey split a pair of weekend games, falling on the road to No. 11 Boston College in overtime on Friday before coming home and earning a shutout victory over No. 16 Louisville on Sunday.

Taryn Tkachuk scored the lone goal against the Cardinals yesterday, finding the net in the fourth period to avoid another overtime contest.

The Hoos’ loss to the Eagles was their first of the season.

🔼 Home Courts. Virginia women’s tennis hosted the Wahoowa Invitational over the weekend, with eight Hoos competing in singles.

The team went 10-10 in their singles matches, and 8-3 in doubles action.
