🔼 Squeezed The Orange! No. 15 Virginia women’s soccer’s offense dominated late on Saturday against Syracuse as the Hoos scored goals in the ninth, 80th, 84th and 85th minutes to beat the Orange, 4-0, on Senior Night at Klöckner Stadium!

🔼 Down South. Virginia football opened the scoring against Florida State on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium with a 13-yard pass from Beau Pribula to Da’Shawn Martin, but would fail to score thereafter in a 38-7 loss to the Seminoles.

🔼 Sweep The Pool! Virginia women’s swimming and diving cruised in its first home meet of the season against Navy on Saturday, winning all 11 individual event races and both relays!

🔼 Conference Bouts. No. 11 Virginia field hockey split a pair of ACC matchups over the weekend at Turf Field, beating Stanford on Friday, 5-2, before dropping an overtime contest to No. 20 Cal on Sunday, 2-1.

Mia Abello scored three goals in the two games — twice in the win over Stanford and the lone goal against Cal.

🔼 Kings Of The Court! Virginia men's tennis’ Dylan Dietrich won the singles title at the ATP 75 Columbus Challenger on Sunday at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center in Columbus, Ohio!

🔼 Short Run. Virginia men’s and women’s cross country competed at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh over the weekend, with Ella Woehlcke earning a 12th-place finish to lead the women and Brenden McMahon finishing 120th to lead the men.

🔼 Rivalry Clash. Virginia men’s soccer fell in a Smithfield Commonwealth Clash matchup to Virginia Tech on Friday, 2-1.

After falling behind 2-0 at halftime, Marco Dos Santos scored on a late penalty kick to give the Hoos life against the Hokies, but couldn’t find the equalizer.

🔼 Weekend Out West. Virginia volleyball took a trip to the western outpost of the ACC over the weekend, dropping a four-set contest at Cal on Friday night before falling in straight sets to No. 13 Stanford on Saturday.

The Hoos are back home this weekend, hosting Duke and North Carolina.
