🔼 Late Winner. No. 24 Virginia women’s soccer received some late-match heroics from Lia Godfrey on Friday against Clemson, finding the net in the 86th minute to break a scoreless tie and give the Hoos their 11th win of the season.

The goal was Godfrey’s 18th of her career, and second of this season.

🔼 Five Sets, One Win. Virginia volleyball won another ACC match on Sunday, taking down Boston College in five sets to improve to 17-4 overall and 7-3 in conference play.

Elayna Duprey had a match-high 18 kills and a career-best four service aces for the Hoos, and Brooklyn Borum contributed a double-double with a season-high 14 kills anda 15 digs.

🔼 Hoos And Heels. Virginia football fell in its rivalry game against North Carolina on Saturday, 41-14, at Scott Stadium. With the loss, the Hoos are now 4-4 overall on the season and 2-3 in ACC play.

🔼 Shutout In NC. No. 4 Virginia field hockey failed to score for the first time all season on Friday, losing 4-0 at No. 2 North Carolina, which remained undefeated on the year with the win.

The Hoos, now 5-2 in ACC play, close out the regular season on the road at Wake Forest on Friday.

🔼 Streak Snapped. Virginia men’s soccer had its five-match win streak taken away over the weekend, losing 4-1 at No. 5 Pitt on Friday.

The Hoos’ goal came late, with Joaquin Brizuela scoring in the 84th minute to get Virginia on the board.

🔼 Weekend Away. Five members of the Virginia women’s tennis team competed at the UT Home Invitational in Knoxville, Tenn. over the weekend.

Annabelle Xu, Martina Genis Salas and Zara Larke all won two singles matches, while Genis Salas won three doubles matches, two with Xu.
