🔼 Highest Honor. The Woman of the Year Selection Committee announced that Virginia women’s tennis alumnae Natasha Subhash has been named a national Top 30 honoree for the 2023 NCAA Woman of the Year Award!

Subhash is just the fourth student-athlete in Virginia history to be named to the Top 30, joining 1998 NCAA Woman of the Year Peggy Boutilier (lacrosse/field hockey), 1999 finalist Charlotte Davis Quesada (rowing) and 2010 Top-30 honoree Mei Christensen (swimming).

🔼 Full Five. Virginia volleyball got a close win on the road last night, traveling to Syracuse and beating the Orange in five sets.

Lauryn Bowie led the way with 19 kills for the Hoos, followed in double digits by Elayna Duprey (14) and Abby Tadder (13).

Virginia is now 6-3 in ACC play and 16-4 overall.

🔼 Old Friends. Virginia and North Carolina football go way back — it’s the South’s Oldest Rivalry for a reason!

🔼 World Stage. USA Swimming has announced that Virginia associate head coach Jake Shrum will serve as an assistant coach at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships from Dec. 10-15 in Budapest, Hungary!

🔼 Leading The Charge. Virginia men’s lacrosse head coach Lars Tiffany has announced that Noah Chizmar, Jack Walshe and Ben Wayer will serve as captains for the 2024-25 season!
