🔼 Safety First! No. 18 Virginia football is officially bowl-eligible for the first time since 2021, with the Hoos pulling off another dramatic victory in front of the largest crowd of the season at Scott Stadium, 22-20 over Washington State on Homecomings weekend!
The Wahoos trailed 17-7 at the half, and the score was 20-10 heading into the fourth quarter. But their defense shut down Wazzu the rest of the way, and their offense delivered when it had to.

🔼 Claimed The Clash. For the second time in less than a week, Virginia volleyball beat Virginia Tech on Sunday, sweeping the Hokies inside John Paul Jones Arena to earn a full point in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash!
For the eighth consecutive match, freshman Reagan Ennist led the Cavaliers on offense with 15 kills. Ennist also tallied three blocks on Sunday to tie Jasmine Robinson for the team lead. Hannah Scott added a match-high nine digs to aid in the efforts.

🔼 Out Front. Virginia cross country was dominant on Friday at the 2025 Panorama Farms Invitational, with both the men’s and women’s teams earning victories.
Nate Mountain led the men in the 8k race with a fourth-place finish in 23:18.7, while Gillian Bushee led the women in the 6k with a third-place finish in a time of 20:09.5.

🔼 Sunday Dub. No. 9 Virginia men’s soccer extended its unbeaten streak to 10 games on Sunday, winning 2-1 over Denver at Klöckner Stadium.
Captain Umberto Pelà scored one and set up an incredible strike from Reese Miller to provide the other goal for the Hoos.

🔼 Squared Up. No. 3 Virginia women’s soccer played Louisville to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, with Maggie Cagle scoring her seventh goal of the season for the Hoos against the Cardinals.

🔼 Dominant Display. No. 3 Virginia field hockey took a break from ACC play on Sunday and traveled to William & Mary, picking up a 5-0 road win over the Tribe.
A full team effort was on display for Virginia as four different Cavaliers scored a total of five goals with three different athletes recording assists in the 5-0 victory.

🔼 In The Clubhouse. Virginia women’s golf finished play at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday, shooting 28-over to finish 15th in a strong 19-team field at Stanford Golf Course.

🔼 On Top. Virginia men’s tennis sophomore Rafael Jódar won the singles title at the ATP Challenger Lincoln, held at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.

🔼 All Aboard. The Virginia Varsity Four placed second overall and first among collegiate boats at the 60th Head Of The Charles Regatta on Sunday!
