🔼 Back At It. Virginia football’s bye week is behind it, and head coach Tony Elliott was at the podium Tuesday to discuss the Hoos’ upcoming Homecomings matchup with Boston College this Saturday at noon on the ACC Network!

🔼 Scoring Threat. Virginia field hockey’s Mia Abello played the hero last weekend against Duke, scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over the No. 9 Blue Devils.

The ACC took notice — Abello has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by the conference!

🔼 Windy City Wrap-Up. Virginia women’s golf finished up play at the Windy City Collegiate Classic on Tuesday, shooting 34-over to finish seventh as a team.

Amanda Sambach was the top performer for the Hoos, shooting 7-over to place 17th individually. Jaclyn LaHa placed 29th at 10-over.

🔼 Late Loss. Virginia men’s soccer suffered a home defeat on Tuesday, falling 2-1 to UNC Greensboro.

Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Hoos answered with a goal from Luke Burns in the 67th minute, the first of his collegiate career. However, a goal from the Spartans in the 86th minute was the difference.

🔼 Round Rock Ball. Virginia baseball’s opponents for the 2025 Karbach Round Rock Classic in Round Rock, Texas have been announced!

The Hoos will play Oregon State on Feb. 21, Minnesota on Feb. 22 and Oklahoma on Feb. 23 to round out the tournament.
