🔼 Locked In. Next up for No. 18 Virginia football is its annual Homecomings game, a non-conference clash with Washington State at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Scott Stadium, where the Wahoos are 4-0 this season!

🔼 Clash Shifts. After Virginia volleyball took down Virginia Tech in five sets in Blacksburg on Wednesday, the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash shifts to Charlottesville this weekend, with the Hoos and Hokies playing this Sunday at 3 p.m. inside John Paul Jones Arena.

🔼 Running Home. Virginia cross country is back on the course for the first time in three weeks this morning, hosting the Panorama Farms Invitational at 9:30 a.m.

This morning’s race is the last before the ACC Cross Country Championships on Friday, Oct. 31 in Louisville.

🔼 Away From Home. No. 3 Virginia women’s soccer closes out a three-match road stretch this weekend, traveling to Louisville (11-3-1, 4-2-1 ACC) tomorrow for a 5 p.m. contest.

With four matches remaining in the regular season, the Hoos sit in a tie for third place in the ACC standings with 13 points, three behind Stanford for second place.

🔼 Mountain Men. Virginia men’s soccer plays its final non-conference match of the season on Sunday, hosting Denver at 5 p.m.

After its match against the Pioneers, the Hoos finish the regular season with matchups at home versus Clemson and on the road at SMU.

🔼 Tribe Tilt. No. 3 Virginia field hockey hits the road this weekend, traveling to Williamsburg on Sunday for a 1 p.m. game against William & Mary.

The Tribe are 1-10 this season and carry a seven-game losing streak into this weekend.

🔼 Dishing It Up. The University of Virginia’s baseball roster for 2026 is made up of players who can be divided into five distinct groups.

About a dozen players who were at UVA last season remain in the program. About a half-dozen others transferred from Duke to UVA this summer, including slugger AJ Gracia, pitcher Henry Zatkowski and infielder Noah Murray. Several of the Cavaliers’ freshmen originally signed with Duke last fall expecting to play for Chris Pollard in Durham, N.C. Other first-years signed with UVA last fall expecting to play for Brian O’Connor in Charlottesville.

And then there are the transfers who played last season at Davidson, Rider, Western Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Virginia Tech and Indian River State, respectively.
