🔼 Rivalry Win! Virginia volleyball claimed Round 1 against Virginia Tech in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash on Wednesday, beating the Hokies in five sets in Blacksburg!
The two teams will meet again this weekend, with the Clash shifting to Charlottesville on Sunday at 3 p.m.

🔼 Locked In. Next up for No. 18 Virginia football is its annual Homecomings game, a non-conference clash with Washington State at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Scott Stadium, where the Wahoos are 4-0 this season.
The Cougars have Virginia’s full attention, with several impressive performances already on tape this season.

🔼 Dishing It Up. The University of Virginia’s baseball roster for 2026 is made up of players who can be divided into five distinct groups.
About a dozen players who were at UVA last season remain in the program. About a half-dozen others transferred from Duke to UVA this summer, including slugger AJ Gracia, pitcher Henry Zatkowski and infielder Noah Murray. Several of the Cavaliers’ freshmen originally signed with Duke last fall expecting to play for Chris Pollard in Durham, N.C. Other first-years signed with UVA last fall expecting to play for Brian O’Connor in Charlottesville.
And then there are the transfers who played last season at Davidson, Rider, Western Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Virginia Tech and Indian River State, respectively.
