🔼 Road Dub. Virginia men’s soccer went on the road this weekend and picked up a big ACC win, beating Boston College 1-0 to improve to 2-2-2 in conference play.

The match was scoreless for most of the night, until Nick Dang found the back of the net off an assist from Daniel Mangarov in the 78th minute.

🔼 Late Rally. Despite giving up an early goal in the 15th minute against SMU on Sunday, No. 25 Virginia women’s soccer rallied back to win, 2-1, to earn victory No. 10 on the season.

Lia Godfrey scored the game-tying goal in the 49th minute, and Meredith McDermott was the owner of the game-winning goal in the 81st minute. Maggie Cagle assisted on both goals.

🔼 Road Split. Virginia volleyball spent this past weekend on the road, sweeping Clemson on Friday evening before falling to No. 20 Georgia Tech on Sunday.

Elayna Duprey led the Hoos in both games, registering 12 kills against the Tigers and 10 against the Yellow Jackets.

At 4-2 in ACC play, the Hoos are now off to their best conference start since 2006.

🔼 Just Short. Virginia football turned a 10-point deficit in the third quarter into a three-point fourth quarter lead on Saturday against Louisville, but a late touchdown for the Cardinals gave them a 24-20 win over the Hoos at Scott Stadium. Here’s your postgame coverage:

🔼 Top-10 Teams. No. 3 Virginia field hockey fell in a battle of top-10 teams to No. 8 Saint Joseph’s on Sunday, 5-2.

The Hawks scored the first three goals of the game, before the Hoos bounced back with a pair of scores from Emma Watchilla and Mia Abello. Virginia could not find the net after that, however.
