🔼 No Goals Allowed. No. 25 Virginia women’s soccer scored two minutes into its contest against NC State on Thursday thanks to a goal from Meredith McDermott, and it was all Hoos from there in a 3-0 win over the Wolfpack.

Allie Ross added a goal in the 72nd minute, and Maya Carter followed with a score of her own three minutes later.

🔼 Road Trip. Virginia volleyball will travel south this weekend for two more ACC matchups.

The Hoos (3-1 ACC) are in South Carolina today for a match at Clemson (0-4) at 7 p.m. and will travel to Atlanta on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match at No. 20 Georgia Tech (1-3).

The Hoos are winners of two in a row, both against ranked opponents in No. 19 Virginia Tech and No. 10 James Madison. The Eagles are still in search of their first ACC win, sitting at 0-3-2 in conference action.
