🔼 Time To Clash. Virginia men’s hoops showed resiliency in Miami on Wednesday, earning a win over the Hurricanes with just eight scholarship players suiting up for the Hoos.
Next up for Virginia is a chance to grab some momentum in the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash against Virginia Tech, with tipoff set for 4 p.m. tomorrow at John Paul Jones Arena.
🏀 FEATURE: Hoos Have Enough To Finish The Job
🔼 One More Shot. Virginia women’s basketball fell in a one-possession game at Miami on Thursday night, 77-74.
Latasha Lattimore had a career night for the Hoos with 25 points and seven rebounds, and was followed in double figures by Breona Hurd with 14 points. Kymora Johnson also stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
🔼 Top Teams In Town. The Boar’s Head Sports Club will have the feel of an NCAA Tournament semifinal round this weekend, with No. 5 Virginia men’s tennis hosting both No. 3 Ohio State and No. 1 Texas.
The Hoos take on the Buckeyes today at 6 p.m. before welcoming in the Longhorns on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

🔼 Rivalry Takedown. It’s rivalry time for Virginia wrestling, as the Hoos hit the road today for a Smithfield Commonwealth Clash meet at Virginia Tech at 7 p.m.
The Hokies are 5-2 overall this season in dual meets, and 1-1 so far against ACC competition.
🔼 Test Time. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis is looking to earn a win against the No. 7-ranked team in the country for the second consecutive weekend — after beating then-No. 7 Duke in the ITA Kickoff championship last Saturday, the Hoos host No. 7 Michigan tomorrow at 11 a.m.
🔼 We’re No. 1. The ACC baseball coaches have spoken — Virginia is the team to beat this season in the conference!

A total of seven Virginia men’s lacrosse standouts have been named Nike Lacrosse Preseason Media All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse — McCabe Millon, Griffin Schutz and Ben Wayer were named to the second team, while Johnny Hackett, Joey Terenzi, Noah Chizmar and John Schroter were represented on the honorable mention list.

🔼 First Tee. Virginia women’s golf gets its spring season underway this weekend, teeing it up at the Collegiate Invitational at GCC in Guadalajara, Mexico today and tomorrow.
Smithfield, the official sponsor of the Commonwealth Clash, in partnership with Harris Teeter, is challenging all basketball game attendees to bring in nonperishable food items for donation to the University of Virginia’s Community Food Pantry.
