🔼 Carolina Calling. Virginia women’s basketball begins a two-game road trip today, traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C., for a 3 p.m. tipoff at Wake Forest. The game, which was originally scheduled for a 6 p.m. tipoff, has been moved up due to weather conditions.

The Demon Deacons are 12-9 overall this season and 2-7 in ACC action, with a 1-4 record at home during conference play.

🔼 Whatever It Takes. Virginia men’s basketball didn’t flinch when it was down 19 points to Notre Dame on Tuesday — the Hoos did what it took to get the comeback win!

🔼 Worldwide Hoos! UVA's Mia Abello and Mary Adams played for the U.S. field hockey team that placed sixth, its best finish ever, at the Junior World Cup last month in Santiago, Chile!

🔼 Runnin’ On The Weekend. Virginia track and field will be split between a pair of meets this weekend, with representatives of the team competing at the Brent Tolsma Elite Invitational today and tomorrow in Lynchburg, while others will be in New York City on Sunday for the Millrose Games!

🔼 Watch Out! Virginia men’s golfers Ben James and Bryan Lee have been named to the 2026 Ben Hogan Award Watch List!

James is a two-time semifinalist for the award (2024, 2025) and enters the spring as the No. 1 player in the latest PGATourU rankings while sitting at No. 2 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

🔼 Earning Expectations! Virginia men’s lacrosse’s McCabe Millon and John Schroter have both earned preseason All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse!

Virginia Football’s 2026 Schedule Unveiled. The Cavaliers will host six games at Scott Stadium, including ACC matchups against Syracuse (Oct. 10), Duke (Oct. 23 or 24), Cal (Nov. 14) and North Carolina (Nov. 21). Virginia will also host inaugural home series against non-conference opponents Norfolk State (Sept. 12) and Delaware (Sept. 26).
