🔼 Road Trip Ready. Back-to-back road games are next on the schedule for the University of Virginia women’s basketball team. The Cavaliers love playing at John Paul Jones Arena, but a change of scenery might do them well. Two of UVA’s three ACC victories, after all, have come on the road, and its recent homestand resulted in a pair of frustrating losses.

🔼 High Five. Baseball America has released its preseason poll, and Virginia checks in at No. 5!

The 2025 poll marks the third time in five years that the publication has ranked the Cavaliers fifth to open the season. Baseball America also tabbed Virginia fifth in the 2021 and 2022 preseason polls.

ACC Reveals Football Dates For Stanford, Florida State Games. The Cavaliers will host Stanford on Saturday, Sept. 20, and Florida State on Friday, Sept. 26, at Scott Stadium.
