🔼 Start A Streak. Virginia men’s basketball gets a second consecutive home game tomorrow, hosting Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

The Irish are 8-10 overall this season and 2-5 so far in ACC play.

🔼 Kick It Off. No. 5 Virginia men’s tennis hosts an ITA Kickoff this weekend, with a matchup against Boise State first up tomorrow at noon.

The Hoos will play Alabama or VCU on Sunday in either the consolation match at 10 a.m. or the championship at 1 p.m.

🔼 Home Matches. No. 5 Virginia women’s tennis also hosts an ITA Kickoff event this weekend, starting with a matchup against New Mexico today at 1 p.m.

The Hoos will then have a matchup against either Duke or South Carolina on Saturday.

🔼 Wrestling Out West. Virginia wrestling heads out to California this weekend for a dual against ACC newcomer Stanford on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.

The Cardinal are 6-2 overall this season in dual matches, but 0-1 in ACC action.

🔼 Close To A Comeback. Virginia women’s basketball faced a two-point deficit in the fourth quarter on Thursday to No. 18 Georgia Tech despite trailing by as many as 20 points earlier in the contest, but could not find an equalizing bucket in what turned into a 75-62 loss to the Yellow Jackets.

Kymora Johnson led the way with 22 points and five assists, followed by Latasha Lattimore with 10 points and 10 rebounds and Breona Hurd with 16 points.

🔼 Heading South. Virginia swimming and diving is deep in the heart of Texas this weekend, competing at the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown in Austin.

Texas, Arizona State and NC State will all be in attendance.
