🔼 Hoos vs. Hokies. No. 1 Virginia women’s swimming pushed its perfect record to 5-0 over the weekend, picking up a Smithfield Commonwealth Clash victory over Virginia Tech, 215-85.
The Cavalier women won all but two races and swept the diving events. The Virginia men fell to the Hokies, 198-102.

🔼 Slipped Away. Virginia women’s basketball fell on the road at No. 14 Duke on Sunday, 60-55. The Hoos led by nine points at halftime and by four heading into the fourth quarter, but were outscored 21-12 in the final 10 minutes.
Latasha Lattimore (14 points), Kymora Johnson (14 points), Olivia McGhee (11 points) and Edessa Noyan (10) scored in double figures for the Hoos.
🔼 Western Weekend. Virginia men’s basketball finished its trip to the West Coast on Saturday, falling 88-65 to Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif.
Isaac McKneely scored 22 points to lead the Hoos on 5-for-11 shooting from deep.

Virginia Track & Field Set To Co-Host The East Coast Invitational Indoor Competition. The Virginia Beach Invitational (Feb. 7-8) will see competition from notable members of the SEC, ACC and Ivy League, among other conferences. Teams competing include Norfolk State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Princeton and William and Mary.
