🔼 Let The Good Times Roll! In front of a sellout crowd that included members of one of the finest teams in program history, the 2025-26 Virginia men’s basketball team showed once again that they’re a formidable group, too.
The No. 23 Hoos beat Stanford on Saturday, 70-55, to improve to 3-1 in ACC play!

🔼 Splash Made! Both Virginia men’s and women’s swimming and diving were victorious over the weekend against Penn State, as the Hoos celebrated their seniors in their final home dual meet of the season!

🔼 Seeing Orange. Virginia women’s hoops suffered its first ACC loss of the season on Sunday, falling to Syracuse at John Paul Jones Arena, 79-60.
Kymora Johnson led the Hoos with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists against the Orange. Virginia had a seven-game win streak snapped with the loss.

🔼 Tightly Contested. Virginia wrestling jumped out to an early lead and led through nine weight classes before a pin flipped the dual and the Hoos fell 19-17 at No. 9 NC State on Friday.

🔼 Tiger Fight. Virginia squash hosted Princeton on Saturday, with the fourth-ranked men’s team beating the No. 8 Tigers, 7-2, while the No. 6 women’s team fell to the No. 4 Tigers, 9-0.
🔼 Movin’ In! Virginia volleyball welcomed newbies Emily Fowler (Coastal Carolina), Reese Wuebker (Ohio State) and freshman Skylar Gates over the weekend!

Now in its 40th year, the Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year award winner will be announced live from Houston’s Post Oak Hotel on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, during an awards ceremony.
