🔼 Handful of Honors. Inside Lacrosse named five men’s lacrosse players to All-American awards. Cole Kastner, Connor Shellenberger and Chase Yager were named to the Second Team. Griffin Schutz earned Third Team honors. Payton Cormier received an honorable mention. This is Kastner’s second career Inside Lacrosse second-team honor, while it’s the first for Schutz and Yager.

🔼 We’re In! The softball team earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament as the two-seed in the Knoxville Regional. This is the program’s second bid in history. The Cavaliers will face MAC Champion and third-seeded Miami (OH) on Friday at noon ET. The regional is a double-elimination format.

🔼 Day 1. The men’s golf team began competition at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional. Overall, the team scored a 280 (-8), putting them in first place. Deven Patel had the best score for the Cavaliers with a 67 (-5) and sits in first place individually. Bryan Lee is tied for fourth place with a score of 70 (-2).

⚔️ Hoos Head Into Offseason On Solid Footing. The women’s lacrosse team had a lot of changes at the beginning of this season and exceeded expectations this spring. Virginia finished the season, its first under head coach Sonia LaMonica, with a 15-5 record, the most wins for the program in 17 years.
